Michelle Minnikin – Chartered Business Psychologist
My natural curiosity and my strong desire to understand why and what makes people perform at work led me to first undertake a degree in psychology before gaining a master’s in occupational psychology and I went on to achieve Chartered Psychologist status in 2005.
Since 2002, I’ve worked designing and delivering bespoke selection procedures for complex organisations, including the NHS, Balfour Beatty, AMEC, and T-Mobile. I’ve assessed thousands of candidates using robust selection processes and tools, including designing selection processes and conducting psychometric testing.
Outside of work
Outside of running my business, I love taking my family on camping adventures, living in our tent as much as we can in the summer, attempting to make our garden pretty and dragging the family kicking and screaming around as many castles as possible!
Paula Gardner – Business Psychologist
I worked for over 20 years as a PR company owner and coach but felt I wanted to develop my talents in the area of business psychology. I am comfortable in working with Chief Executives and senior leaders and have undertaken academic research in the field of ethical leadership. My cross industry work, plus history as a PR agency owner gives me a great insight into the issues currently pertinent to leaders and managers. I have a Masters in Business Psychology, a diploma in Transformational Coaching from the ICF accredited Animas School of Coaching, and a member of the Associate of Business Psychologists. I also follow the British Psychological Society’s Code of Ethics.
In my conversations with clients I bring a level of warmth, groundedness and plenty of humour to what can sometimes be difficult conversations and decisions that must be made.
Outside of Work
I just love writing and am the author of two text books, Get Noticed and Do Your Own PR. I have also featured in The Guardian, HR Zone, Psychologies, The Huffington Post and most recently am a columnist for Thrive Global.
Wendy Kendall – Chartered Business Psychologist
I have spent over 20 years helping multi-national organisations solve their people development issues, building international teams and creating the global leaders of the future. I began my career as a behavioural science researcher for the UK Ministry of Defence, later being promoted to Senior Psychologist for the Director of Army Personnel Strategy. Branching out from this excellent foundation, I became a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, lived and worked overseas, and in the past fifteen years I have worked with graduates, specialists, executives, heads of country and board members develop their talents.
Outside of Work
I love living in the countryside and with two horses, a dog and a cat I revel in having great down-time with my husband and now grown-up children. There is little to beat riding out in the countryside on my horse, following my husband on his mountain bike and enjoying all that nature brings to my life.
