Recruit care workers with Testing Talent’s new ‘Who Cares’ a situational judgement test specifically for assessing care workers. Developed by Tests Direct this test significantly assists in identifying individuals who have the ability to work as care workers in care and residential settings. It is the only validated test in the UK and Ireland to assess a job applicant’s knowledge, skills and values required within the care sector. Who Cares assesses a candidate’s ability to work as part of a team, show tolerance and care, and deal competently with difficult situations. To recruit care workers, ‘Who Cares’ provides objective information to recruitment managers about the professional abilities of care workers. For care establishments with pressing budgetary concerns the test will save both time and money in selecting the most caring and professional individuals.
These tests are only available to organisations. We are not permitted to sell tests to individuals.
Testing Talent are the sole providers of Who Cares in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Who Cares can be used to measure the candidate’s professionalism in relation to following care plans, whistle blowing, taking pride in their work, representing the organisation and continually learning.
It measures service user orientation by looking at how they spend time with service users, their empathy, compassion, how they listen to needs and how calm, respectful and patient they are.
It measures their team working skills by looking at how strong their team orientation is, their willingness to offer and ask for help, collective decision-making skills, sharing skills and knowledge and their team responsibility.
We are currently offering a free trial of the test to all care homes registered in Northern Ireland or The Republic of Ireland. This is a relatively simple process where we give you two free tests to use on candidates with no obligation on your part at all.
