The provision of all data to Testing Talent is voluntary. You do not have to provide us with any data. However, if you do not provide us with certain data it will be difficult for you to take part in one of our Assessment processes.
By participating in one of our Assessment processes you are giving your consent for us to pass your data to the client(s) and Test Publishers that we are undertaking the assignment for. We will not pass your data to another party other than these specific client or clients, without your consent.
Personal data we collect
As a guide, we will collect your name, address, telephone number(s) and email address(es) if you participate in any of our processes.
In promoting diversity, inclusion and equality we may also collect sensitive personal data about you in the form of ethnicity, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion and relationship questions. This information will remain confidential.
If you participate in one of our Assessment processes we may collect assessment data, development data, psychometric data, 360° feedback data, reference data and interview data on you. We may also ask for a copy of your CV. Based on all or some of this data we may produce a report for our client.
How we use your personal data
We use your contact details as the basis for managing our interactions with you.
In our Assessment practice the data we collect on you is sometimes used to help clients make placement decisions on candidates. If this is the case, it will be made clear to you by the Testing Talent team working on the assignment. In other circumstances the data is used to help individuals develop themselves.
In our Assessment practice when we use Psychometric Tests/Tools we retain your personal information for 12 months. When we use Personality Assessments we retain your personal information for 24 months.
After these times we store data anonymously for analytical purposes to generate insights, for example producing group norms.
Who we share your personal data with
Your data will be shared with the client(s) we are working with.
In an Assessment process, this will depend on the precise purpose. In a coaching or other development programme, certain data will likely be shared with your employer. In an assessment context the data might go to your employer (for example in an internal promotion process), or in a situation where you are being assessed for a new organisation the data will go to that organisation.
From time to time we use Associates to deliver services for us. We also sometimes partner with other organisations to help deliver projects to our clients. Therefore, we may release your data to these parties in order to deliver the work we have been engaged to do. In all cases the data will be treated in strictest confidence, and in line with General Data Protection Regulations best practice.
Access and control
